Admire this unusual strand of bone beads from Kenya. While Kenyan bone beads are common in a variety of shapes and styles, these beads come in a hard-to-find cylinder shape. East African bone beads are handcrafted by artisans using recycled cow bone. Each bead is individually carved and polished, and is truly one of a kind.
These beads measure approximately 23-25 x 22-23mm, with a hole size of 2-3mm. Strands measure approximately 24″, and have approximately 20 beads each. Level of polishing and quantity of eyes per bead may vary slightly from photo.
These are a great find for any beader looking to do something truly unique with their work!
